Plymouth Avenue Staff
Associate & Youth Minister
Billy joined PACC as the Student Minister in July 2009, after finishing his Bachelors degree at Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, Tennessee. After spending 6 years in the Florida Army National Guard, Billy felt it was time to stop running from the Call he was hearing from God, and set off to Knoxville to pursue his degree in Youth Ministry.
He is originally from Staten Island, New York but has lived in 5 different states before making his home here in DeLand. You can usually find him playing or watching sports when he isn’t teaching or harassing students.
Currently Billy also serves with the DeLand Area Youth Outreach (DAYO) organization, and as a Chaplain for the DeLand High School JV and the DeLand PopWarner Bulldogs Football teams; and as a volunteer with the DeLand High FCA organization.
We are incredibly excited to announce that Michael Coppock has joined our ministry staff and will serve as our new worship minister. Michael has thirty years of ministry experience during which he has served the Lord at churches in Florida and in Virginia. He is a graduate of Florida Christian College, now Johnson University Florida, where he currently serves as a voice instructor.
Michael is married to his wife Vicki and has three children, Jordan, Melinda and Julia.
Plymouth Avenue Christian Church | DeLand, FL
Plymouth Avenue Christian Church was founded on March 25, 1962 after several families felt the need for an independent Christian Church in the DeLand area. Mr. Hubert Jacobs offered a five acre plot of land across the street from DeLand High School on the corners of Plymouth and Hill Avenues. We are a non-denominational fellowship of Christians, free from all denominational ties, bound together by our absolute belief in the precious Word of God and our sincere desire for the unity of all the followers of Jesus Christ. We hope to see you Sunday!
